Isaak Landman, ---

(1880 - 1946), the Editor-in-Chief of the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, Isaak Landman was distinguished American Reform rabbi, educator, and a prolific author. The first Jewish chaplain with U.S. Army, he was a vigorous proponent of interfaith Jewish-Christian dialogue.
