PublishersRow > Privacy Policy

Your Privacy

Because we recognize that your privacy is important to you, we make it of the utmost concern to us.

This Privacy Policy statement explains the kinds of information we gather, how we gather it, and our policies about its use.

General Principle

In general, PublishersRow.com asks visitors for only the minimum amount of information that is required to serve their needs. The primary reason we collect personal information is to process your purchases. With your permission--but only with your permission-- we may arrange special offers from third parties of goods and services that we think you may want to know about.

Linked Sites

Please be aware that PublishersRow.com"s Web sites may contain links to other non-PublishersRow.com sites. PublishersRow.com is not and cannot be responsible for the content, nor the privacy practices, of such other sites, and you should be careful to make suitable inquiry when you visit them, before disclosing any information that is important to you.

Our Data Collection Practices

Registration In our online registration form, we ask you to provide us with a password, your full name, email address, and sometimes your full street address and phone number, in order to receive your User ID and special offers from us - and, should you so choose, special offers from others. We archive your User ID and your email information so that we may verify your registration, and so that we may communicate with you, if necessary, by email, concerning our goods or services, such as new offerings, upgrades or to resolve problems. Additional information is collected, if your activity on PublishersRow.com involves financial transactions over and above simply purchase of items.

Orders Also, at the time you place an order, we must obtain your password (so that we may verify your order, and establish an account file for it), your credit card number and credit card expiration date, your full name, your billing address (and your shipping address, if different), and (in case we need to reach you regarding your order) your phone number and email address.

Technical Administration We may also use other information that identifies you personally - such as the Web browser you are using and your URL address - temporarily for technical purposes, such as to help us diagnose any problems we might have with our server and to improve the administration of our Web site.

Use of Personally Identifying Information

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We NEVER never rent, exchange, sell, or release your personal details to anyone without your permission. We may, however, in extreme cases - but only where required by law - release your personal information to a court, or to a law enforcement or other governmental agency. For example, we may be required to release such information in the event of reported credit card fraud, illegal uses of the Internet (such as to disseminate computer viruses), or in cases where customers have been victims of abusive electronic mail or "spamming".

With your explicit permission only, we may use such information ourselves to keep you informed about special offers from us on products or services that may be of interest to you. If you do not wish us to do so, please tell us by sending an email message to Support at PublishersRow.com. Please put the words "no info please" in the subject field. If you use more than one email address to visit us, send this message from each email account you use. You can also, access your account at PublishersRow.com and UN-check the permission to e-mail you such offers.

Cookies

A "cookie" is a small file that a Web site stores on your computer to record your preferences. Each time you visit a site, the cookie works with your browser so that the site "remembers" you. If you "reject" a cookie, on the other hand, you might not be able to log on to a site, or use all of its features. Cookies are commonly used to save you time and make your use of a site"s features as easy as possible. Sometimes they are used to facilitate advertising. Security

We collect any sensitive, personal identifying information only via a secure transmission using industry standard SSL encryption. We will protect your personal information from unauthorized disclosure. However, please be aware that you also must be responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your User ID, your passwords, and your credit card account information, and must protect such information from unnecessary disclosure.

Integrity of Your Data

At the time you register, and whenever you place an order, we ask you to verify that your name, address, password, and other personally identifying information is correct. If, however, you find later that you made a mistake in the verification process, or if any of such information changes, you should notify us as soon as possible.
