In the numerals from 11 to 19, it employs the form parallel to nnfoy. The TH form nntpy has a cognate only in Aramaic, including SA: noy ( moy). 8  Therefore, it cannot be assumed that the absence of a distinction between mfcy and n- npy in SH is the result of a lapse of memory. It is not yet known whether Ugaritic mwy parallels  TH nifty, since η does not usually serve as a mater lectionis in Ugaritic. 9 5.2.2 Compounds such as TH nfoynwan ( Jud 8: 10) or nwymaw ( Jud 20: 25) are unattested in the Pentateuch and unknown in SH. 5.3 Remaining Cardinal Numbers 20 iSram onwy 60 SiSSam D W 30 seläs am nwbv 70 Säbtm oyaw 40 arbtm cpymx 80 sämänam omatt 50 emissam o^ an 90 tiSSim wywn 100 mä nxa; 200 mättam ovixa; mäot mxa. 1000 älafrpK; 2000 äläfäam α^ κ; pl. äläfam era1?**; const. ^ κ. 10,000 räbäbä nam; pl. räbäbot mam. Note: The form of the numeral for 40 is, it appears, formed by analogy to that for 70, because otherwise it should be * arbäam. Perhaps the Ara- 8 Mr. Rason Sadaqa informed me that he had not  encountered the form noy in Samaritan liturgy, but upon inquiry he pronounced it  äsäri. 9 On this cf. Ε. Y.
